When we talk about Law 68/99, protected categories, targeted placement and reserved seats, there are many questions. This guide helps you understand how your rights and how to use the reserve of the law without losing opportunities.
1) What is the reserve of the law in the law 68/99?
The reserve of the law promotes theemployment of persons belonging to the categories protected. Some jobs may be:
- reserved in public competitions;
- covered by the lists of the targeted placement;
- for procedures selective dedicated;
- used by the companies to comply mandatory quotas of recruitment.
The reserve does not automatically assign a workbut create a priority channel if you meet the requirements.
2) A person who applies the Law 68/99?
No. 1: people with disabilities admitted to the targeted placement.

Always check which category do you belong to: the notices indicate if the reserve is concerned art. 1 or art. 18.
3) How does the competition and reserved seats?
You must comply with the requirements of the notice and overcome the tests foreseen.
The reserve do not delete the selection, but can to ensure a priority place if you're eligible.
If you arrive earlier in the list, you may log in as “candidate” normal " or reserved on-site. The contract, and the rights are equivalent.
4) What happens if the notice does not provide reserved seats?
The reserve applies only if provided for in the contract notice or in the procedure.
You can participate as all the other candidates, but without benefits of the reserve.
