My story
Hello, my name is Nicoletta,
I am a girl solar, full of vitality, energy and always ready to catch the beauty of life. I am a person very empathic and open: I love to listen to, compare, and create connections authentic with those around me.
In my journey of life I found obstacles linked to my disabilitybut I've never let yourself define who they are. On the contrary, every day I try to cope with the difficulty with strength, courage, and determinazionand. I live my disability not as a limitbut as a resource that taught me to look at the world with different eyes.
I love long walks, reading, traveling and, above all, to immerse myself in the beauty of the sea, which to me is synonymous with freedom.
In 2018, thanks to a dear friend – he too american – I have discovered this wonderful sport that is the Wheelchair fencing. I wanted to get in the game and from that moment I have not stopped. The fencing is not just a sport: is a discipline that has taught me the the value of teamwork, sharing, and inclusion.
After gaining a degree in Human Sciences, I chose to pursue the Degree in Social services. Dream to exercise the profession of Social Worker, to help those who, like me, is challenges personal, social, or relational. I want to be a point of referencefor those in search of listen, support, trust.
I believe that every person has within themselves a spark. Just cultivate their passions, and to not give up, even when the road seems uphill.
Myself deeply in a sentence Bebe Vio, champion, wheelchair fencing, which says: “ If it seems impossible, then you can do”.
And this, today, is my philosophy of life.

was founded with the goal of promote a culture of inclusion authentic, giving item to persons with disabilities and by offering tools, reflections, and resources for to build a more equitable society.
In summary, you want to be a point of reference for those who believe that the the rights of persons with disabilities are human rights and that the inclusion is a is the shared responsibility of all.
