The fragility is a part of life of every be human.
Sometimes gets in the way unexpectedsometimes change the way in which we see ourselves and the world.
But the fragility it is not only a limit.
It can become a extraordinary boost to overcome obstacles, barriers and prejudicesespecially when the society tends to define people by what is missing rather than what they are.
Many persons with disabilities every day show that the determination can transform difficulties into opportunities for growth and change.
The right to choose
There is a fundamental principle that should be the guiding inclusive society: the right to choose their own life.
I deeply believe that everyone should have theopportunity to choose, even when your choices are not understood or shared by otherthe.
Because the freedom to choose is part of human dignity.
Choose it means being able to decide your own path, build for the future, chase your dreams and assume responsibility of their decisions.
And this right should never be limited by a’label or a stereotype.
Fight for what you believe
The road to theinclusion it is not always easy.
There are physical barriers, cultural and social that still today make the path more difficult for many persons with disabilities.
But every change born to those who decide to not passively accept these limits.
Fight for what you believe in.
The strength comes within you.
Go ahead to head higheven when the the road seems to be uphill.
Because the the future it is not something that happens simply: it is something that we build every day with our choices, and our determination.
Before the person, always
The disability does not define a person.
It is only a part of his history.
Before conditionbefore any labelbefore each prejudicethere is always the person: with his dignity, its rights and his value.
And it is from this awareness that could be a society that is more just, more open, and truly inclusive.
